We checked in after 4 and the front desk person who checked us in was exceptional. She was very understanding, very polite, and made us feel welcome. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable

There was no bathroom mat present. The room light were very poor.

The room and facilities and the food was ok

Staff need to explain herself better when querying about the food. What goes with what etc. Also, breakfast included should also be Jamaican food, we shouldn't have to pay for Jamaican meals since we are in Jamaica

Beautiful view from our room. Pool was clean and enjoyable to use. Met some great people who were fun to hang with.

Leaky roof in our room when it rained. Poor lighting in the room also.

The place is nice but the lobby is unsafe when it’s raining

Nice and clean rooms, very friendly and nice staff at the bar & restaurant

The lobby area is exposed to the rain and very a slippery. I fell and hit my head upon arrival. The reception staff did nothing about it, no incident/accident report, no medical help, nothing.

Overall the stay wasn't bad.

Breakfast coffee was cold,milk for the cereal wasn't chill.The omelet was not omeleting.

As for the room it was three of us ,only two towels.They could as let put two complimentary bottle water.

It was a fair, bare bones experience that was cozy and quiet but needs the hot water and TV to work!

The coziness of the place was welcome. The breakfast was decent amd served individually which was a nice touch. I liked the small beach area. The staff was friendly and complaints responded to immediately. The room was fresh and clean though sparsely furnished

There was no hot water and we could watch nothing on the TV...Netflix needed a sign up and there seemed to be no cable connection.

Regular hotel with a marvelous private beach and view.

There is on the hotel a private beach and we loved it very much. Also, the food from the restaurant were good and we've received a welcome drinks.

1- Our lunch on our first day delaied about 3 horas to arrived. It seems that the cooker was not there, but it was not said at the at we ordered, just when we started to ask. 2- Some tourist places we'd asked to the staff on the reception was not known by them and we had to find out by ourselfs 3- Not as a negative point to the hotel, as we knew before book but I need to comment was that the room without air conditioned was too warm and we had a bad night because of this, so i ll highly suggest not take those rooms.

Breakfast - great Customer Service - great Cleanliness - good View - great Staff - great (pleasant & attentive when approached)

ROOM: No Floor Mats (Doors, bedside) ; no small fridge; lack of Bath Towels; BATHROOM: No Bath Mats; Tissue Holder was rather low and below Towel rack; MAIN AREAS: Floors were sometimes wet inside, balcony, walk areas... had to be rather careful lest you slide/fall.

What was the highlight of Ocean Palms

Overall, for me, my stay accomplished what I wanted - peace, rest and relaxation.

Breakfast was continental - pancake, toast, sausage, eggs, cereal, fruits, juice and that was adequate for me. If you want Jamaican breakfast, that is an additional charge. Room was ok, comfortable even though my ac remote didnt work, the temperate setting was good for me. My room faced the sea which was lovely. The check-in was easy and Wifi was very good in the rooms. Staff was very courteous and willing to assist when needed. There is no mini refridgerator in the rooms, however, a microwave is availabe for use by guess (even though its in the lobby). Dinner can be purchased from the hotel restaurant but its best to order in advance to avoid a long wait as everything is done to order.

The restuarant is under renovation and therefore meals are served on the top deck which is quite sunny and hot in the mornings. Management could add extra covering to prevent guests from searching for a comfort spot to have thier meals. There is no cable television in the rooms, however, that could also be a plus. Since it is a smart televsion, you can still log in to various sites and what whatever you wish. Parking is inadequate.

It was good but with slight improvements to the facilities and breakfast options, it will excel.

The location was good and the bed was very big and comfy. The balcony view was an added bonus because it was nice to wake up to a scenic look of the ocean.

The breakfast, though said to be available from 7-10, was finished before that and the options were very limited. The milk for the cereal was also room temperature and the orange juice tasted HORRIBLE. The lack of an elevator was also troubling as our room was on the highest level and would have been inaccessible if one of us were injured/disabled.

A peaceful stay with a good breakfast right on the water's edge

Mattresses were comfy, room was a decent size and comes with a nice view of the sea as well as a mini fridge. Property overall needs modernising and a lick of paint but was OK. Staff are very helpful especially Jodie who took me into town to take out money and go shopping which I appreciated. Breakfast is a good size and the location is on a quiet street in the heart of Ocho Rios near the clocktower.

Breakfast was decent but inconsistent, i.e when the chef was off it wasn't as nice and I was given reheated eggs instead of freshly made ones, which were gross. Staff were nice though and the next day, they made them fresh for me again when I requested it. It was hard to book things through staff and it felt as if the offerings for excursions i.e. going to the blue hole or ordering a taxi, were grossly overpriced so I ended up arranging things myself as there are taxis at the end of the road.

The ocean view is spectacular. The rooms are accommodating. The rates are manageable overall for loc

The staffers were very pleasant, and polite especially, Alex. I would definitely rebook. On another note please indicate that GCT are not included in the prices shown online.

The breakfast could have offered more choices. Also I tried to eat healthy therefore some form of seasonal fruits could be served as well. The servings could have been a little more for the protein. There were also noises coming from other properties in the wee hours of the morning which I know you have no control over, and finally I would like more secured parking. Please work on that.

Both the room and bathroom lacked being equipped..the room needed towels, blankets, a table light ,kettle, cups and a chest of drawers to put clothes in. A table and chairs would have been nice. The bathroom had no face towels ,no soap etc...the staff was very obliging and helpful and the food very good...the parking terrible..one guest's car was broken into one night and a solution must be found for the flooding at the entrance..we had difficulty in getting to our car which had to be parked across the road.
